Another birthday cake

Although my birthday was half a month ago, my husband came back home with my birthday cake. My daughter sang a song for me, and my son blew out three candles on my behalf. My husband gave me a pressure-cooker that I'd been longing for! I hate getting older, but I love my birthday.

Happy Belated birthday! You have such a nice husband.

Not too sure if you're interested, but a more "simpler" way to do the first sentence might be, "Although my birthday was half a month ago, my husband came back home with my birthday cake."
And "My son blew out three candles on my behalf."

I'm not sure if you wanted those, but I thought it might be of small help. ^^; Sorry if it was annoying.

Happy Birthday~ Happy Birthday~~!!

By no means! Thank you so much. I've been studying English, but I make lots of mistakes when I'm writing. I rarely use my dictionary, so sometimes I realize my ambiguus knowledge... Let me rewrite as you taught me. And feel free to tell me about mistakes. ;-)

Let me chime in also with a belated Happy Birthday!

Nevermind getting older. As they say, "The older the fiddler, the sweeter the tune."

By the way, pressure-cook is a verb. The noun is pressure-cooker. (Sorry that's the only birthday present I have for you...)

Thank you for your help! This surely is a wonderful birthday!
