Easy to make, tasty to have

My children, especially my 7-year-old son, crave for snacks after school. I'm a stay-at-home mother. I admit that I have plenty of time to cook sweets for them, but I haven't done it. I'd rather spend time just for myself (studying English, of course) as much as possible.

Dango always helps a selfish mother like me. It takes only 10 minutes to make, and you can vary its taste with Kinako or Anko. Have you ever had Kinako-dango? I'm sure you'd say, "Yummy!"

If you're interested in making dango. I'm sure this recipe site would be help for you.

Hi,

I stumbled on your blog today and I just wanted to let you know that your English is fantastic! I read through some of your previous entries and there were times when I'd forgotten that you weren't a native speaker. I myself am studying Japanese right now, so I can understand how you feel, though our situations are reversed ^_^ I have to admit, though, that I'm a bit envious as well; if only my Japanese were half as good as your English!

Your blog is very interesting. Would it be all right with you if I added it to my links?

Wow, I wish I'd had such afterschool snacks when I was a child! My mother's idea of a snack was, "Go fix yourself a bowl of cereal." One good thing came of it, though... she inspired me to learn cooking! If I hadn't, I would have been stuck with cereal for a snack every day. ^_^

That looks like a great recipe site; thanks for sharing the link! I tried making kinako-dango before and it didn't come out right, but maybe it's time for another try.

By the way, may I also ask permission to link your blog from mine?

To little star

Oh, thank you so much! I can't be confident about my English writings. That's why I've been trying to write here! Thank you for your kind words, little star! Of course feel free to link to your blog! I really appreciate it!

To Michael

Oh, you don't need to ask me to link to my blog! Please do! It'd be my honor.
My mother used to make doughnuts for my sister and me. She didn't like cooking, but she did much more than I do. Let me know how do you like your self-made dango! I'm looking forward to hearing from you.
