Let's read!

I had my hair cut today. A short time later, I happened to know that the hairstylist who cut my hair and I had interests in reading; he intruduced some interesting-sounding mystery novels.
I've been reading English novels since I started studying English, but I rarely try Japanese books these days. I was stunned when I realized that I wasn't familiar with any name of successful Japanese writers. Japanese is my mother tongue; I will keep reading like I did when I was a child.

★Looks much better!★
While I was chatting with the hairstylist, we found out that we share a common interest in reading.

Hello. I'm tree32.
I write my diary both in Japanese and English.
Now I'm studying English hard.
So I don't feel like reading Japanese books.
This year, I would like to try to read a lot of
books both in Japanese and English like you.

Hi, tree32-san.
I felt the exact same way as you do, actually, but I was shocked to know that I hadn't heard of one of best-seller books, 「チーム・バチスタの栄光」. I was totally behind the time. Since then I make it a rule to pick up a Japanese book. XD

To Deny

Thanks a lot! I was waiting for someone's advice!
