Eating out
How often do you eat out? My family and I rarely do, approximately twice a month or so, and there are some reasons for it.
First, it costs. Some of my neighbors eat out on weekends, saying "Mothers need to take a rest on weekends." I completely love their way of thinking, but I can't afford to it...
Second, my son complains about amount of food at a restaurant: he is a big eater for his age. My daughter's dislikes are eggs and mayonnaise, so sometimes we have to be choosy.
I'm not much of a cook, but it's said that "Practice makes perfect." Above all, I love to see my family enjoying each meal at home.

I don't like to think about what to cook, so I often rely on recipe books. On Sundays, I check it and decide our menu for a week. I guess it'd work well for you, too!

I really do not care where to eat, myself. But I do care where and what to eat for my kids.
Also I primarily respect of wife’s feeling. If she does not feel like to cooking (e.g. she is too much tired because of hard work at office) I prefer to go out to eat.
Well, approximately I estimate once or twice a month just like Emi-san does.
Myself, like it or dislike it, I have to eat out for lunch anyway at work.
Honestly speaking, I love to eat at home with my family.
The best place to eat is at home. It IS very comfortable, really, even though I have to dish wash after eating.

I know! You're a wonderful husband. My husband never said to me, "You must be tired. You can sit back and relax." When I felt tired, he often told me, "You shouldn't keep working. Why don't you quit your job and stay at home."
Oh, yes, he is a typical Kyusyu-danji.

I don't like cooking.
Because I can't come up with a menu everyday.
The food gets repetitive …
"Practice makes perfect"
Got it!
